The Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) offers a prestigious scholarship annually in the fall to deserving undergraduate nursing students in the Greater New York area. This scholarship recognizes and supports a high-achieving student dedicated to the nursing profession.

If you are of Haitian descent, enrolled in an accredited program with at least three clinical rotations, maintain a strong GPA, and demonstrate a commitment to community service, we encourage you to apply. Selected scholars are honored at our annual flagship event, where they receive financial support and recognition for their achievements.

Explain its significance and describe how you plan to incorporate it into your future nursing career. Additionally, discuss how you will use your education, knowledge, and leadership skills to create opportunities and inspire future generations of nurses.
